G Star Jeans

I bought a pair of G-Star (Markham) Jeans from the Waterfront store on my birthday last year on 16 Oct 2014. The pair of Jeans cost R2200. The Sales consultant gave me a 30 min science lesson on how sophisticated and how these jeans will outlast me. I was gobsmacked at how scientifically these jeans were made. And that's what sold it. The jeans started Fraying after a few months. I went to the waterfront branch to ask them to replace due to the bad quality of a very expensive jeans that was supposed to outlast me. I have woollies and Mr Price jeans that have lasted years with no issues of fraying other than wear and tear. I spoke to the gentleman at the store and he said that they would repair the jeans. I don't want a pair of jeans that's Fraying. I wanted it replaced as its bad quality. He gave me Lynn Lee contact details to make a complaint. I did. She made contact with me and spoke to her management and she said that her management would repair the Jeans and give me a 25% discount on my next purchase. I said i am going to hello peter if this does not get resolved and she stated that her manager would contact me. Im still waiting. Why would I buy Jeans at R2200 that doesn't last
