Dissapointed

On the 15th April 2019 I was employed at Markhams Tokai . From the 16th April 2019 until the 27th April 2019. With the time of me being there I constantly had to ask my store manager when I am working as I was not given a schedule if I did not ask he would not tell me when to come in . According to my contract that I signed with Markhams it stipulates that if a 108 (casual) works 4 consecutive days has been work 2 days off should be granted but not in my case in my case I got off after the 9th consecutive day worked which was then the 26 of April 2019 , I went back on the 27th of April 2019 I then got off 3 days and returned the 1ste of May 2019 . I then handed in my resignation due to the fact that I relocated.

With all that being said please note that my contract stipulates my hourly rate is R28.26 , my contract also stipulates that employees get paid on the 29th of each month . I was also told that Sundays and public holidays are double the rate

Please keep in mind I did not get paid for April 2019 at all. I am then informed by my store manager that I will get paid on the 29th of May 2019 for the days I worked . So the 29th May 2019 passes still no pay , I then enquire about it to the store manager and he then tells me according to him I've been paid already for the days worked in April and few days in May. I then submit bank statements to show them I have not received any money from them since the time I started working there and even after I left . I am then informed that i will get paid 29th June 2019 to my surprise i get paid on the 28th June 2019 . An amazing R912.15 was paid into my account.

But according to my roster for April 2019 I worked at least 73 hours . So if you multiply my 73 hours by R28.26 it amounts to R2062.98 . Without taking the public holidays (double rate) into consideration or the days I worked in may.

A whole R1150.83 short & the money is paid to me nearly in July .
