Display item cannot be sold
I am interested in an jacket at Markhams Cavendish Branch which they are currently sold out of. I asked if I could possibly get the display item, but according to the staff the display item can not be sold. I'm so angry because none of the branches have stock and yet the item is still being displayed in the window and they wont let it go at(full price). Why is the item being advertised when non of the other branches have stock? Why can this item not be sold? Their reason is because of head office instruction I don't blame them then. I think its wrong because they wont sell the item, but then why keep it on display? I work in retail if a customer wanted the item at our store we would give it no hassle....truworths, woolworths and many more. NOT MARKHAMS
