Breach of CPA Law and poor customer service

Good Day

Apologies for having to send this email to this level but I have a rather serious problem.
I was going to email Bruce Proctor but thought that you might be able to assist first or maybe just point me in the right direction.

I visited your Markhams store in kenilworth centre today at 13:20 and saw a cellphone advertised for R1199.00 in the display cabinet. Upon speaking to the consultant - NIVEN ISAACS and confirming that I would like to purchase the cellphone we proceeded to the till to process the transaction. The consultant then said the price is now R1999.00. I informed him that as per the CPA law I will only pay the price that it was advertised for but he refused. I asked for the manager and he said that he was the manager. Upon asking him to right down his name and the events that unfolded he refused.

Please advise why he refused to give me a written account of what transpired in the store and also why he refused to sell the phone at the price that it was advertised for.

Please note that if I do not receive an acceptable response I will take this matter further to CEO level and to the Ombudsman.

Thanking you in advanced,

Kind Regards,
Ashraf
