Endless snags and abandonment

Mr Bright first impression was very good, and he had great ideas for the renovations. He comes recommended by a renowned real estate agent.

But It took him however 2.5 years to renovate a 96sqm townhouse and eventually abandoned the project. His quote was not complete,. His tiler did not use tile cement properly and many tiles cracked. Mark and his tiler did not know how to cut class tiles for kitchen or shower with a diamond cutter. I had to buy the diamond cutters and supervised the tiler. Did not install edging strips. His painter did not use primer and paint will peel. Had to make my own arrangement to get new door frames and doors installed. Windowsills and door cavities are scew. Had to get a new contractor to fix this, after Mark and his contractor supposedly fixed the snag. Highly unlikely to find a spirit level on site. Tiled walk-in showers 3 times and floor level still not right after 3rd attempt. Water ran into the bedrooms . Had to get a new contractor to get the fall and angle right for drainage towards the outlet. Forgot to install new plumbing piping and outlet in new laundry. Had to get a new contractor to finish. Scratched the new windows. His labourers spilled and messed cement on the new aluminium window and door frames, which damages the aluminium and cannot be repaired. It looks like your homecqas never cleaned up after the builder left. Spills paint on the tiles. Did not clean it off Spills paint on furniture. Broke new toilet seat because of *********** workmanship. Plumber installed basin taps incorrectly. Incapable of doing a Basic plumbing installation. Could not install free standing bath . Bath wobbled due to incorrect size of plumbing pipes. Had to pay new contractor R4000 to fix this 'snag'. Inlet pipes for basin taps not fastened. Pipes came loose with water damage to new vanity. Mark will always find a way to put the ball in your court and come up with an issue why he will not be on site. His aporoach is that with building anything can be fixed. The snag list will be endless and the snags will become new snags. And the snags will not be repaired. Terrible job with rhinolighting of walls and ceilings. These are only some of the problems you will face if you use Mark Bright from RealProp. He charges a premium, but his labourers are shabby and at the level of people advertising themselves at a street corner. He will wear you out and you with games.
