MARIUS ELS LICHTENBURG

I am 76 years old. I ask this guy for a quotation to complete the roof of my building. He quotated R22 500 but wanted 80% deposit. I offered R10 000. He countered with R14 000 as "it would not even cover material". I paid over via EFT on 25 Jan. On 29 Feb he still have not received the funds. On 31 Jan he received funds and "ordered" the materials. On 15 Feb he came, opened the roof and gave me the impression that it will be completed on that day. Since then the roof had been open and it rained heavily, causing rising damp in the walls and water damage to cement floor. I had to pay a second contractor to come close the roof and complete the valley. I have proof of this via photos and paperwork. I am very distressed because the money I lost and the income I am loosing because of the building not being completed!!
