Do Not Send your Child To this School

<p>Really disappointing, after being a parent to my child at marist brothers for 8 years , my youngest was enrolled in Grade R in 2016, as per my older child we paid the deposit of R10 000 however we informed the school that we would be emigrating in early 2016 but would like to have our younger child experience Marist Brothers , our plans to emigrate were some what delayed and last week both my children finished at the school, upon requesting for our deposits to be refunded we were more than shocked to find out that they had un be-known to us changed the policy to a NON refundable deposit of R10 000 , this was news to us as no letter was ever sent to us , upon contacting the school in regards to this we were first told that the letter stating the deposit being non refundable was posted to us in 2015 , I asked for proof of this to which they then rep**** that the letter was hand given to us but if we had informed the school of our plans to emigrate 2015 then they could make a plan, I duly sent them the proof of when we notified the school of our emigration in 2015 to which their story again changed to that there was nothing they could do but try the governing body for an appeal , I proceeded to do this and again was told point blank that there was nothing they could do!! This change in story and blatant lies must be noted that came directly from a catholic school who claims to follow the christian ways .. also very important to note that thoughout this whole process not a single apology regarding our situation was ever given...</p> <p>DO NOT send your child to this school , they are ***** and will bend any story to suite their needs , not to mention the theft of a deposit of R10 000 that we paid for a year of schooling . Trust me rather look around and check out Wterstone or St Martins , you will regret sending your child to this school!!</p>
