Steel speculums safe ?
Just a word of warning ... the Pap smear tests are done with a reusable steel speculum. This means that it has to get sterilized properly before use. So it’s best to ask the nurse what’s the sterilization process. I believe newer ways of performing a Pap smear are done with a plastic speculum that is disposable. Marie stopes are these steel speculums safe ? And why aren’t you modernizing processes?
