Nasty attidue from nurses

<p>I went to Marie Stopes in Cape town CBD yesterday. I waited for few minutes then a nurse came to the door and started asking me personal questions through the gate of the door. We got into an altercation when I said she should open the door and let me in because she cannot ask me personal questions talking to me from outside in the street where evryone can hear. She actually asked me "Are you here for a terminaton??!!?! When they finally let me in the issue became that i dont have a card ,i explained to the adminitrator that i had relocated from JHb and I didnt have a card as in JHB , they checked they would check my details on the computer as I went there regularly for my family planning. She then proceeded to tell anyone who would listen inside the entire clinic on telling everyone in a loud voice my personal business. " this wants an injection but she is from JHB ,and there are confidentiality issues so we cannot see her infomation onthe system " Really , is this is how you handle confidentiality issues ?</p> <p>she then refused to help me because she said i have an apointment for the injection. A procedure tht takes 5 minutes. But then she refused to make an appointment and said i mus tcall the centre to make a booking. I asked her why must a icall the call centre to make a booking when i am right here i nthe clinic ? She said because you think you are clever so yo ucan call for yourself. </p> <p>So now i had to fight with the Nurse how refuse dto let me and the Administrator too. they were so rude. I asked for their detaisl so i can lay a complaint and they refused. they said you can call yourself and figure out who we are, we are not giving you our names.</p> <p>I called the call centre and laid a complaint with Ronnel sho said she would get back ot me by 9am thismorning. I called her at 12Noon, at 2pm and again juts now anleft her several messages but she still has not come back to me iether. It is like a disease with the whole organisation thta is supposed to help people but seems intent on pulling them down</p> <p>So now i have my privavcy violated , time wasted and still no appointment to carry out the service i went there for. I would ike issue resolved b ya seniou person that actually cares abou the reputation of their clinic. Failing this i wil be escalating to the human rights commission because if they can treat an adult this way imagine how they are treating young girls who go there scared and helpless </p> <p> </p>
