Medical negligence

After taking 3 pregnancy tests which tested positive i made a Top appointment at Marie Stopes Rondebosch, when I arrived both scans couldn't pick up anything however the urine test at the centre came back positive. The nurse said this could be due to the fact I took morning after pills and sent me home, the following week, 11th of January 2022, I took 2 urine tests at home and they came back positive, I returned to the centre and again both the ****** and ultras an couldn't pick up anything and however the urine tests at the centre came back positive, I told the nurse that this points towards an ectopic pregnancy and I was dismissed, she gave me pills to take at the centre and another to take at home the following day. After taking the second set of pills, I experienced very little to no bleeding/clots and mild cramps, I reached out to a friend who is a doctor for a second opinion as my concerns were not being heard or taken seriously by Marie Stopes, he assured me that this was indeed an ectopic pregnancy. I reached out to the call centre and the nurse who was assisting me throughout this ordeal Murisa, again I was dismissed and told that the pregnancy was too early to detect hence the minimal bleeding. After 2 weeks, I tested positive again for pregnancy with tender breasts, I reached out to the call centre and was told to return to the clinic (Rondebosch) I did and was told again by Murisa that this was normal. Last week, I started spotting with mild cramps, the nurse told me this was my period and I shouldn't worry. When the pain got severe with dizzy spells, excessive sweating and weakness, both my partner and I reached out to Marie Stopes around 9am on February 14th and we were told that the matter would be escalated to a nurse and that they would call back, several hours passed with no feedback and I called again as the pain kept getting worse around 3pm and the consultant blatantly told me to endure the pain as they have a long list of clients and I would be attended to as soon as a nurse was available, needless to say, they didn't call back. On Wednesday the 16th,i went back to the centre as the pain was getting worse and my stomach getting bigger, the nurse told me that I had gas, I told her this wasn't the case and that something was terriblly wrong,she then made take a pregnancy test which came back positive. She referred me to a gynae at Netcare hospital in Fores**** who charged me R750. The gynae picked up a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and wrote me a letter for an emergency surgery as I had a copious amount of blood outside my womb, the doctors at Somerset hospital performed surgery and removed my left tube on the 17th of February 2022. Marie Stopes refuses to take responsibility and pay the full refund as they completely disregarded my medical concerns and questions. Not only that but they employ unqualified and *********** Staff members.
