Marie Stopes is a danger due to unsanitary conditions
I write this review with a heavy heart and tears streaming. I hope that this review alerts people about the dangers of medical providers such as Marie Stopes.
In March of this year, I decided to put my health first and go for the woman wellness check up. It was just going to be a routine check up and I had no fears about it.
Unfortunately, three days after the check up, I picked up a terrible infection which I could’ve only contracted from the clinic.
It is terrifying for me ... I live a nightmare everyday of my life since that day. My mind has thought about the worst possible scenarios.
The sad thing is I thought I was going into a sterile room. The only thing I can think happened is that steps were missed in the sterilization process and now I feel as though my whole life is ruined.
I can’t explain to you how my mental health has taken a nose dive ever since that experience.
I hope no one else has to go through what I am going through. And hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else in the future.
It is important to also note that some adverse event have the potential to arise and, in such cases, we have a process to be followed that allows for the adverse complication to be addressed and the client’s well-being to be restored so we encourage you to come back into the centre for an assessment.
