DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I am 19 years old and needed an IUD inserted. I live and work 2 hours away from the nearest Marie Stopes and had just so happened to be about 35 minutes away from the Marie Stopes Clinic in Durban on a Monday, so I called in and asked if they had any appointments available for that same day. I was told they could fit me in at 3.30pm, so we made an effort to arrive at 3pm just incase. After waiting until 4.40pm, an hour and 10 minutes later, the nrse finally called me in. She was not friendly or polite and I did not feel comfortable. After my very brief and non-informative consult, she took me to the room where I would have my IUD inserted. Now keep in mine, I have NEVER seen a gynae before so this is all new to me and rather uncomfortable. You can imagine how shocked I was when she made me take off my pants and underwear right in front of her and I was given no privacy. She immediately started working on me and I felt as if she was rushing to go home as I was now the last patent of the day, and did not even warn me before touching me or anything. May I add, SHE BURPED WHILE HER FACE WAS BETWEEN MY LEGS!!!!!!! Afterwards, she gave me a review card which i just put everything as average and then said ''please write 'i had a lovely experience and the nurse was very nice to me' on the card", I was shocked.

Its now 8 days later and I still have horrible pains in my stomach and nobody answers the phone when I try and contact them.

When people say you get what you pay for, believe them.
