BIG ****- VISIT AT OWN RISK!!

I made an appointment for IUD insertion on the 31st January,the appointment was for 11am.I was sent a payment link which didn't work,I called in to advise about the error when trying to make payment and another link was sent to me which also didn't work.I then enquired if they accept cash and was told yes.On the day of my appointment,I paid R950 for a service that's cost R940 and the lady at reception mumbled something about there being no change,no direct apology and clear communication about there being no change(Why accept cash,if you won't keep change is baffling to me)

Secondly I waited over an hour only to be taken in 12:05 for an 11am booking,no explanation as to what's happening.In the consultation with the nurse,she asked if I'm on my period,I responded no,she then told me that it may not be possible to insert the IUD and it's better if one is on their period,mind you I have had an iud inserted before at this very branch and I was not on my period.Very confused at this point,I was lead to the room where the procedure is done,only for the nurse to tell me that she is 'unable' to insert the iud and that I need to come back some other time when I'm on my period.Why wasn't I advised that I need to be on my periods while i was making my booking,how was it done before? I just don't understand.

To make matter even worse, I called to ask for a refund when i realised that the following month my period doesnt fall on the days that they are open for contraceptive services,a consultant I spoke to tells me she has logged the refund and someone will be in touch within a week,after 4 days of waiting for someone to call me,I decide to call again, this time another consultant tells me that refunds are not possible on amounts under R2000(at this point I'm convinced that nobody at this establishment knows what they're doing!)

I absolutely regret making this appointment.The entire system from booking is quite pathetic.Contraception services are only available on a Monday and a Friday, yet they start with other service which means the 'appointment' system is useless,as you can be seen even 2hours later than your scheduled time.Nobody explains anything to you and you may end up leaving without being helped instead they will **** you of your money,because they apparently don't do refunds.They don't know what they're doing,they don't care about their customers and they will ***** your money and nobody will ever follow up with you. VISIT AT OWN RISK!
