Excellent service
I had a really good experience with Maria Amor. Excellent communication throughout the whole process, and my dress was perfectly on time. I ordered it and sent through my measurements, it was a little to big so I just took it in for some final alterations close to me. A really pretty dress that didnt cost an arm and a leg. Made my day truly special

I cannot recommend Maria Amor highly enough! From the very beginning, the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly professional, patient, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my dream wedding dress a reality. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. Every little detail was beautifully made, and the finished dress was even more stunning than I could have imagined. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made sure that the dress not only looked beautiful but also fit me perfectly. What I appreciated most was how comfortable and confident she made me feel throughout the whole process. Creating a wedding dress can be stressful, but she made the experience enjoyable and exciting from start to finish. I received so many compliments on my dress on my wedding day, and I truly felt like a princess wearing it. ❤️ Thank you so much for putting so much care, talent, and love into creating such an important part of my special day. I will always be incredibly grateful, and I would wholeheartedly recommend you to any bride looking for someone who is talented, trustworthy, and truly passionate about what they do! ✨👰♀️

Loved having them be part of my new journey.
In 2022 I married the man of my dreams. Yes it was at home and just parents and kids but it was the best experience ever for me. I had been married before and the second time was exactly how I wanted it. And Maria Amore was a big part of that. Because I still had THE dress even though it was intimate and small. Thank you Maria Amore for being a part of our life’s journey. And then in 2025 they joined again for my daughter’s matric farewell and made it a very memorable time indeed.

Loved having them be part of my new journey.
In 2022 I married the man of my dreams. Yes it was at home and just parents and kids but it was the best experience ever for me. I had been married before and the second time was exactly how I wanted it. And Maria Amore was a big part of that. Because I still had THE dress even though it was intimate and small. Thank you Maria Amore for being a part of our life’s journey. And then in 2025 they joined again for my daughter’s matric farewell and made it a very memorable time indeed.

Excellent Quality!!!!
I bought my wedding dress from Maria Amor and I’m honestly so happy with it! 😍 It’s absolutely beautiful, the quality is amazing, and the price was really reasonable. My wedding is only in October, but I already feel like a bride every time I see it. The whole process started off really smoothly and they did give me a delivery date, which I appreciated. But as a first-time customer, I did start to feel a bit nervous after making payment because I didn’t get any updates on the shipping or whether the dress had arrived in the country. I had to follow up myself to find out how things were going. Call me paranoid, but what bride isn’t these days—especially with so many ****s out there? That being said, my dress arrived safely and it's everything I hoped for. I’m super happy and would still recommend Maria Amor to other brides💍💖

⚠️ Warning to Future Brides – My Personal Experience I am sharing my experience so that other brides can make informed decisions. I paid an 80% deposit for my wedding dress, with the understanding that it would be completed and delivered in time for my wedding. As the expected delivery date approached, I received repeated assurances, followed by one explanation after another for why the dress had not arrived. Waybills were created and then cancelled, and I received shipping information that I was unable to verify. Five days before my wedding, I still had no dress and had to urgently find an alternative. Although my 80% deposit was refunded, the refund did not undo the emotional distress, disappointment, and unnecessary pressure of having to source another wedding dress at the last minute. Prior to placing my order, I contacted a number of brides whose dresses had been featured on the Maria Amor Facebook page. Several were kind enough to respond to my private messages. Based on those conversations, it appeared that there are brides who received their dresses and had positive experiences. However, I also became aware of recent experiences that were similar to mine, which raises concerns for me. This post reflects my personal experience and the information that was voluntarily shared with me by others. It is not intended to make allegations beyond those facts. I simply encourage anyone considering placing an order to do their own research, ask for recent customer references, and take appropriate precautions before paying a deposit. No bride should have to face the heartbreak and stress of discovering just days before her wedding that she may not have the dress she planned to wear.

I would strongly caution any bride considering Maria Amor based on my experience. I ordered my wedding dress on 27 December 2025 and was promised delivery within four months. Instead, I waited seven months and was met with what felt like a constant stream of excuses and conflicting stories. Over the months, I was told that: Gena's house had flooded. Her mother had passed away. My dress had been sent to the wrong bride. The dress was then allegedly ****** from a car while being returned to me, despite me having previously received a screenshot showing the dress being collected from her home by a courier. I was then told that my dress would be remade within a week, which seemed difficult to believe considering I had already waited six months for the original dress. After that week, I received a dress that was not even the dress I had ordered. To make matters worse, I was later informed that my dress had once again been sent to another bride. By this point, I had completely lost confidence in the process and decided to fly to the town where my dress was supposedly located so that I could collect it myself. I made it clear that if I did not receive the dress that day, I would be contacting the police. I was given the contact details of the bride who allegedly had my dress. After further investigation, the number appeared not to belong to a real bride at all. The writing style, spelling, and communication were identical to Gena's. The matter was even looked into further to determine whether the person actually existed. On the day I travelled to collect the dress, the package unexpectedly appeared at a Courier Guy depot from a completely different area than I had been told, and it was sent under yet another name. Perhaps the most concerning part of this experience was that two other brides contacted me directly, asking whether I had any information about their dresses because they had been given very similar explanations and stories. After doing my own research, I found numerous complaints from brides describing similar experiences spanning several years. After waiting seven months, enduring endless stress, conflicting explanations, and spending additional money trying to track down my own dress, I finally received a dress that did not even look like the one I originally ordered. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without having to spend months chasing updates, questioning information you are being given, and wondering whether your dress even exists. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had as a customer, and unfortunately I cannot recommend Maria Amor based on my experience.
