Margate Eyecare - Extremely terrible service

I went to Margate Eyecare on 18/01/19 for an eye test as well as a new pair of glasses. Upon arrival, the receptionist said I could look at some frames. The optometrist the did my eye test and I chose a frame which I liked. I paid half and would pay the balance on collection. I was also marketed a coating on my lense which should have been clear. Upon collection of my glasses, they were adjusted and I thought all was well. I then went hone and when I put them on to test, I found that "wonderful glasses" I had just purchases for R5500 had a scratched frame. I then took it back the next day. I was then told that they would communicate with suppliers and see what they could do to rectify the issue. I was then contacted a few days later when I was informed that they could give the frame as is for a discount of R500 or I could choose a new frame. No other frame meeted my expectations. I then waited again to see if I would be refunded. Today is 15/02 and I was contacted by the optometrist to be informed that they would not refund me the entire amount, that they would take a R450 consultation amount for "services rendered" which I consider to be absolute bull****. It is a month later that I waited and waited and waited. One tries to support the smaller local businesses and this is the thanks one gets. This is honestly a useless bunch and I hope nobody else goes there to experience the ****py treatment I got from both the receptionist as well as the optometrist.
