Still struggling to finalize my late Mothers estate, Marelize Stander Edition

I am back yet again to complain about POOR service and lack of professionalism regarding the resolution of my late mothers estate being handled by Marelize Stander - AV Naude Attorneys, No. 2B Nicklaus Street, Silverlakes, Pretoria.

My mother passed away in 2021 and Marlize was tasked to handle the matter after ABSA BANK lost my mothers files and info and wasted our time for a year or more (see my previous review).

Fast forward and it is now 2025, we have yet to see any official documents or statements bearing bank logos pertaining to the matter, all we have received thus far is typed excel spreadsheets. Trying to establish some form of consistency for a date for finalization has proven fruitless and met with more excuses, until Marelize started ignoring all attempts at communication even from the executor of the estate.

We have received some money from the estate during the duration of dealing with Marelize but she refuses/ignores all requests to supply the proper documentation. We had to submit additional fees to her as well to be on hold for in case 'SARS needs to tax the estate', this was back in February and no feedback or communication has been properly established to confirm or deny whether SARS wanted tax or not and whether we have to pay or get our funds back that were set aside. Heed my warning and avoid AV Naude Attorneys, No. 2B Nicklaus Street, Silverlakes, Pretoria if you value your time and sanity.

When I die I will make sure to not leave my matters in *********** peoples hands, my mother worked her entire life to support us, only to be disrespected in her final wishes.
