I got threatening calls and emails telling me my payments did not go through and it would negatively affect my credit score. According to my bank, it was because they failed to process the debit order. I don't even know how many times I had to scramble to get them to fix their mistake. The fact that they still exist tells me that the South African financial regulatory body is inept.
