Marara Chronicles
I’m really frustrated having to chase up my medication every single month. I’m a paying customer, and it shouldn’t be this hard to get what I need on time.
You claimed from my medical aid on 21 September, and I paid the co-payment the same day to avoid any delays. Still, I haven’t received my medication yet.
I don’t understand why this keeps happening—it’s honestly baffling. Please sort this out quickly.

02 Oct 2025, 12:27Dear Shanelle T,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
We sincerely apologies for the ongoing frustration and inconvenience you've experienced in receiving your medication on time.
We understand your concern, especially given that your co-payment was made promptly on 21 September, following the claim submission. It is completely reasonable for you to expect timely delivery, and we regret that this has not been your experience.
Upon reviewing your case, it appears that there was a delay between the payment and dispatch stages, which we acknowledge should not have occurred. We are currently investigating the root cause of this delay to ensure it is resolved and does not recur in future months.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we are treating this matter with urgency. We will provide you with an update as soon as the medication has been dispatched and confirm the expected delivery date.
Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience. Should you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out directly.
Best regards,
Marara Customer Experience Team
