SENSE OF URGENCY

Last night i took my mother to the hospital because she was in serious pain and when we got to Mar-peh medicare they told us to sit and wait. we sat there for 20 minutes and eventually one Sr came to check her vitals, they did not even have name tags on. My mom asked for water, which took another 10 minutes and when i went to check on the Sr, she gave me a jug with a little bit of water and a dirty glass. The other Sr (who was smelling like an ash tray) saw my mom kneeling on the floor in pain after the doctor told them to admit her and administer drip medication, she walked past and said \this is not the army\" which offended me because she was kneeling on the floor without even a panado to make her pain better. That shift knocked off at 19:00 when the other Sr came in and saw my mother she immediately came and gave her an injection because she could see that she was in pain.<br> <br> I am seriously offended by the way we were treated and i feel that an institution like Mar-peh can give a better service since we are paying a lot of money for their services. I would like a response on what the management has done about this and those tired nurses or whatever they are should be disciplined. "
