Manoli's Hillcrest

Purchased 3 packs of Nuts from their Hillcrest store in January.. Opened them in February, and one pack was rancide. Returned it, to be told that returns only accepted within 7 days. Nuts were still well within their validity date. Contacted their customer Service department and they were equally uninterested in a replacement. Store Manger in Hillcrest insinuated that this was probably due to faulty storage on my part. I was quite insulted. The only other time I have ever returned anything to a store in South Africa was a bottle of milk from Woolworths, which had gone sour before expiry date. A replacement was made immediately - no questions asked, nd lots of apologies for the inconvenience. The difference in attitude could not be more starc.
