Manhatten Milk bottle sweets

I recently bought the Manhatten Milk bottles sweets from Shoprite in Strand and when upon opening and eating it came to my attention the product was expired and the sweets had a funny texture. Not only was the Manhatten Milk bottles expired but it was expired by more than a month. I emailed Mahatten customer care and received a useless phone call pushing the blame on the retailer instead of trying to take responsibility of the there own brand that is being reflected in a negative way in the public. This customer care is rediculous and a disgrace. Where is Manhatten reps and quality controllers that is supposed to make sure retailers are not selling expired goods. I would atleast expect Manhatten to take responsibility and treat me as n unsatisfied consumer with more respect. However I can honstly say that after this expierence I dont recommend buying this brand and I certainly will not. This product was so far expired it could havw resulted in a health issue however Manhatten could not give a ****. There sulotion is blaming everything on the retailer instead of excepting there part as the brand
