Worst car gaurd service ever

<p>My fiance and I drove into the hotel's parking at about 21:25pm on Friday 09/12/2016.</p> <p>One of the car gaurds that usually stand outside directed us to a parking lot that was outside (Nex to the front exit). We refused to park there as we personally felt is was an unsafe parking as it is exposed to peadestrians passing by.</p> <p>We reversed into a parking that was behind the one the car gaurd pointed us to but another car gaurd came up to us and told us someone else had reserved the parking (Manhattan hotel put up a note next to every reserved parking lot but this one had no note next to it).</p> <p>We then left the parking to find a parking inside and the gaurds at first refused to us to go in and insisted the parking area was full and all the empty spaces open were reserved.</p> <p>When my fiance was signing in we asked the car gaurd why he **** to us about the paking area being full and his response was: " You dont ask me stupid questions and you don't tell me how to do my job!". We argued with him about the was his response was direspectful but he just didn't care. We told him we were going to speak to the manager on duty about his attitude and he told us the manager wouldn't care even if we reported him.</p> <p>Another car gaurd lady then says we did not give you parking space because when you drove in you did not greet us and the available parkin spaces at the back are ment for clients that have made bookings for long periods (1 month and longer) not 1 night bookings like my fiance' booked.</p> <p>We have used the hotel on amnumberof occasions and not once have we been told such lies and spoken to with such rudeness.</p> <p>We asked to speak to the mananger on duty who advised us that parking spaces are available on a first come firs serve basis unless reserved. She asked us to write a statement of the incident, which we did. She also promised that she would provide us with adequate feedback the foolowing morning but she never did.</p> <p> </p> <p>Manhattan was a good hotel for us but now it is the last place we would recommend to anyone looking for accomodation around pretoria.</p> <p> </p> <p>I AM TRULY DISAPPOINTED IN THE STAFF, ESPECIALLY MANAGEMENT WHO DID NOT RESOLVE THE MATTER AS THEY HAD PROMISED THEY WOULD.</p>
