Terrible experience on my Wedding Anniversary
Hi, firstly I would like to mention that every time I have booked at Mangwanani, I was given exceptional service and the the******s were properly trained and my experience was well worth the money and time spend at your establishment. Today the 25th of October was beyond disappointing. Yesterday, my husband and I both called Mangwanani at The Pivot on multiple occasions to book for today and we were both told that the 25th of October was fully booked and that we had to pick another day. My husband advised Mashadu who answered the phone that it was our wedding anniversary and that we desperately wanted to come for the moonlight spa. After the 5th call, Mashadu said she would make a plan and fit us in. At 1pm on the 24th, she confirmed we could come in. We were so excited as we had not been for a spa treatment in the longest time and our wedding anniversary was the best time to relax and unwind. We arrive today at your spa at the Pivot only to find that we were the ONLY people booked for today. So obviously your staff initially insisted that they were fully booked because they didn’t want to be at work for only one couple. Is my husband and I not good enough to get a service you provide because your staff choose not to stay behind because we were the only ones who booked? Secondly, our treatment starts and the ladies who provided our treatment was friendly, however the one lady by the name of Grace had absolutely no clue on how to give a massage. For my foot treatment she massaged my chin bones on both legs after telling her on numerous occasions to massage the muscle as the bone is now hurting. Of which she did not do. On the second treatment which was the shoulder massage, she spent the entire time on my shoulder muscle after me telling her on numerous occasions to massage my neck and shoulder blades as that muscle was now sore and the skin now bruised. She didn’t listen either, she continued to massage the same spot for the entire hour. I also mentioned to her that her nails were scratching me as they were long. She apologized and continued to hurt me. If this wasn’t bad enough, she was on her cellphone throughout my shoulder treatment. After the treatment, I refused to be in pain any longer and complained to the manager Grace Sibeko and asked her to please change my the******. She advised that there were no other the******s working. What was supposed to be a romantic getaway from the corporate world of working and the chaos with kids, ended up being a dreadful evening that ended in pain and tears, on my wedding anniversary. I am appalled that these type of the******s are employed that are obviously not properly trained and vetted and are allowed to service your customers that have been true to the Mangwanani brand. Your brand has wasted my time, money, trying to acquire a nanny to take care of my kids just so I can actually celebrate my wedding anniversary. Not a place I will ever visit again.
