Overall bad experience

Visited the Winelands branch for the first time last night for the moonlight couples spa package booked last week with Nitasha at central reservations. Booking confirmation stated night spa would start at 6:30pm. We got there at 6pm to be early enough for snacks only to find that treatments started at 5:30pm. Nitasha failed to notify me that the time would be changed due to Covid regulations. At the spa we offered to forfeit 30min so not to disrupt our group schedule which ended at 10pm eventhough it was not our fault. To our dismay before treatments we found the the******s to be disorganized chatty and loud. During treatments sounds of squeaking chairs in the head neck and shoulder group treatment room and being able to hear the washing of dishes in the kitchen while having our full body massage in the private treatment room really spoiled the experience. The entertainment felt forced because the ladies looked tired and uninterested and the chicken curry was over salted. For the price we paid a proper plated dinner with even just some veg added and a wider variety of individual desert portions would have been so much nicer. We were not even greeted at the door at the end of the evening. Our spa experiences thus far has always calming and serene and this really did not live up to that expectation. My special day was spoilt because my anniversary gift to my husband was truly disappointing.
