Bad hygiene at Mangwanani

Dear Mangwanani River Valley Management,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unsatisfactory experience my wife and I had at your spa on Sunday, 2nd June 2024. Given Mangwanani's reputation for excellence, we were greatly disappointed with the quality of service and facilities we encountered during our visit.

1. **Hygiene and Cleanliness:** - There was a significant amount of mold throughout the spa, which is both unsightly and a health concern. - The towels provided in the basket for wiping hands were thick with mold, which is unacceptable in any hospitality setting, particularly a spa.

2. **Service Quality:** - Our exfoliating massage was notably short because the the****** was unprepared and distracted by personal conversations outside the room. This lack of professionalism affected the quality of our treatment, which felt more like a cursory wash than a proper massage.

3. **Weather Preparedness:** - When the weather changed and it started raining, there were no prior arrangements to keep clients dry. Umbrellas were not readily available, and they only arrived much later, causing considerable discomfort to guests.

4. **Food and Beverage:** - The food options provided were extremely limited. We received only a half cup of rice and six small pieces of butter chicken, which is insufficient for a meal. - The dessert table had only two options, and the portion of mulva pudding served was extremely small, approximately 2 cm in size. - Given the premium price paid for the experience, the value and quality of the food were highly disappointing.

For the amount we paid, we expected a much higher standard of service and amenities. We trust that Mangwanani River Valley will take these issues seriously and implement necessary changes to ensure such experiences are not repeated.

I kindly request a response detailing the actions that will be taken to address these concerns. Additionally, I believe some form of compensation would be appropriate given the nature of our experience.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Sincerely, Sulaiman ***
