When life gives you mangoes

A flight was scheduled for 18h00 on November, 20 at Lanseria Airport. My family delicately prepared for the flight by leaving Pretoria at 15h00. I think we all can recall how terrible the thunderstorm was in Gauteng that afternoon causing the flight to be delayed for 18h25. Traffic had my excited delinquents arrive at the airport by 17h45 and of course were not in time to have luggage checked in but to their dismay they were also not allowed to have it as hand luggage. In conclusion they did not board. The agent/consultant they spoke to was reluctant to assist them in any way because of his own frustrations of the current situation.
