Rotten mangoes
If i can credit Mango airlines for one thing, it is their consistency. Their ability to be consistently late time and time again really should be commended. I have just landed in Cape Town at 2.30 pm. My flight was supposed to land at 10.50 am. I have had to put in a day of leave at work as there is no point really at showing up at the office at 3 pm only to leave at 4.30. I have 4 sms's from mango stating the flight will be delayed. The sad thing is that this doesn't happen on the odd occasion. I flew with them just 4 days ago and again my flight was delayed. it appears to be the norm. i guess i should mention they offered me a R300 voucher this time around for compensation as they put it. Sadly R300 is as good as nothing in terms of what I've lost from this day. Together with emails that go unanswered, items being ****** from luggage and just thorough bad service, they have really set the bar for poor service delivery. Complaints like these are a dime a dozen. The only reason i continue to accept such service is due to medical aid discounts that make them the most reasonable airline to fly with. Rest assured once i stop paying for these benefits i will no longer be flying mango nor will i ever recommend them to anyone
