POOR SERVICE

I recently flew to PE and with was 5 min late for check in at the PE airport to return to OR international airport. I phoned them before hand for there were a major accident that coursed the delay, but i only have hand language and will be late about 5 min. When we reached the airport - no one were prepared to assist us at all, they were just looking at each other and turn around and typing on the computer, i had to buy tickets from another airline for more that double than my return ticket costs to be back in time. When I reported this, the only thing that they were pointing to is the time and that they can't assist you when you are late, which i understand, but this were a mere 5 min. POOR, POOR service
