Poor communication about flight delay

Delayed flight on 02 March 2020. Flight JE288 from King Shaka to OR Tambo airport delayed. Original departure time was 20:30. Indicative delay on airport flight screens was 4hrs. Poor to no communication by ground staff to waiting passengers about actual delay. What little communication was made by the ground staff suggests they did not know the actual delay time.
