MANGO AIRLINES - PATHETIC

I already in December 2020 reported Mango Airlines to you. I booked a flight in August 2020 from OR Tambo to George. I was supposed to fly on 15 December, but a week before the time I got a message from Mango that my flight has been cancelled due to limited flight operations. I could not get anybody on the number that was provided by Mango Airlines. Twice my call was answered, but dropped immediately. I booked my flight through Travelstart and they tried their best to get feedback from Mango Airlines. After e-mails between me and Travelstart they in the end gave up, because according to Mango Airlines they paid my money back on 8 January 2021 and I must check my bank statements. I went through the statements, NOTHING was paid into my bank account by Mango Airlines. They never could present a proof that they in fact paid the money into my bank account. The only proof that they gave, maybe they think I cannot read or is stupid, is my booking and payment details, which they attached to an e-mail to Travelstart.

Now according to them the issue has been resolved, because they paid the money into a bank account. Maybe it was one of their accounts, but it definitely was not my bank account.

I know you cannot go on hearsay, but a colleague of mine was supposed to fly to Cape Town during December 2020. He booked a flight to Cape Town on Safair and back to OR Tambo on Mango. His flight was also cancelled, but in days he got a voucher from Safair, BUT up to today no response from Mango Airlines.

Hopefully everybody will boycott Mango Airlines so that they can go the very same route than SAA - the bankrupt route. They are pathetic.
