Mango Airlines Damage 3 Suitcases in 3 weeks, and are not willing to take responsibility.
After a recent flight on Mango, our suitcase was damaged, we had to buy a new suitcase for the return journey, that brand new suit case was also damaged. A wheel was broken off, the handle had been **********, and the hard shell was dented. Shabnam Dhansay from Mango claims that this is wear and tear, and wheels and handles are not covered....well this rules out every suitcase ever made. Then a week later, our third suit case was damaged, not only was the metal frame broken, but the wheel cover was snapped off, and the material sliced open in two areas. I can't see how this is fair wear and tear. This suit case went on a multi stop European holiday recently, and not a mark on it, yet on a 2 hour flight from Cape Town to Pretoria, a suit case can be totally abused, and wrecked, our third suitcase in three weeks, and Shabnam Dhansay from Mango claims nothing can be done. This is enough to make me never fly Mango again, unless someone from Mango can take responsibility, and agree that this is not just normal wear and tear.
