Have some pride in what you do!

I am very disgusted to what happened last night on our flight back from DBN Mango flight JE284. We booked our tickets with no luggage as we only needed to pack for hand luggage so carry on was all we needed. If we usually book luggage in, we ALWAYS wrap it no matter our destination, as we know that the chances of luggage tampering is almost always a possibility. So on our way to our seat, a staff member then insisted that one of our bags need to be taken from us as the flight was very full and that there would not be enough space for my fathers bag. Unaware that the bag was going to be taken as "check-in" luggage and put with the rest, we were given a ticket. On our way out we were notified that we now had to go to baggage claim to wait for our bag. 1st of all if I wanted to check any of our luggage in I would have done it on my own account and I would have wrapped it. When we received our bag, the zip was stripped, another zip was open and a gift box (which was luckily empty) was torn and the fathers day gift (frames) that we have given our father were shattered (these framed were wrapped in several jerseys and in between soft clothing items) I cannot believe that this is the way we had to end our trip. Your staff need to lighten up and treat the customers with respect as I treat them with respect. As for the Airports staff at O.R Tambo you are disgusting to treat other peoples belongings like trash, have some pride in yourself and in the work you do.
