Forget orange fly green!!!
I phoned Mango on Sunday afternoon to cancel my cousin's flight. She was due to travel on Sun evening but was unfortunately admitted into hospital in CT. The agent on the phone explained that I have to provide them with proof of hospitalisation in order to get a "refund" in the form of a voucher less a fee of R370. I emailed her the proof as advised. When I did not hear from her for two days. I phoned Mango again to find out what's happened. A lady named Patience answered the phone. She told me that Fortune was on leave and that I'd have to call the next day when she's back (IMAGINE!!!). I insisted that I shouldn't have to wait for someone who's on leave and that surely she could check on the system if all is in order. She then proceeded and checked and informed me that she could see the booking was cancelled but no voucher was issued. I then suggested that I email her the proof if that's what is holding thing up. I emailed her the letter from Vincent Pallotti as well. This was on Tuesday. Still no word from Mango on Thursday morning.
I phoned today twice to be told both Fortune and Patience are on leave, and that neither of them uploaded the proof on the system (CABANGA!!). I have now been asked to email this to THIRD person called Kgaugelo Mohlala. I was also told the voucher would take 48 hours to be issued which means Saturday, even though I told them that my cousin was discharged this morning and we need the voucher to book her a flight home TODAY. I did what I had to do FOUR days ago, but we are being inconvinienced because well Mango employees did not do what they had to do. Thanks Mango, thanks a fat lot!
