Flight 2 Hours Late with NO Explanation

I was on a flight from Lanseria to Cape Town on Wednesday, 17th February at 9:35. Everything was fine until about 8:40 when I was making my way to the boarding gates. When I got there I noticed that the boards showed that the flight was delayed for 2 hours!!<br> <br> I needed to be in Cape Town by before 12pm because I had meetings to attend and work to do, especially since I was working with a company in Ireland.<br> <br> we received no explanation before finally boarding as to why the flight was delayed and upon boarding the plane we received a chocolate as an \apology\".<br> <br> That was terrible service!<br> <br> Needless to say, I missed my meeting and only got to working at about 2pm and my day dragged on unil about 9pm because of this delay!<br> <br> I have people coming down from Ireland in 5 days time and we were going to make extensive use of their service but after this escape I'm definitely thinking twice!<br> <br> I should have gone the SAFAIR route which was 30% cheaper and actually left on time!!!<br> <br> "
