Excess Baggage excessive charges

I have sent mango an email on 10 Sep regarding extra baggage for a trip we have booked in October, no one has bothered replying. Since then we have heard from other travellers that Mango is the most expensive when it comes to extra baggage and once you have booked it you cannot change it!!!
