Disabled people not allowed to travel alone!

I am a wheelchair user who flys alone all over the world with all the big carriers. I booked a flight to Zanzibar with Mango. I filled in their medical form telling them exactly what little help I need to get on and off the plane / in flight. On checkin for my holiday they had lost the form and had no knowledge of my special needs. Luckily I had a copy - they apologized and said it was their fault. They then said that as a disabled person I am not allowed to travel alone!!! How completely ludicrous and what ************** against disabled people for those that are perfectly able to travel alone like myself! Luckily another passenger who overheard the irrationality and bad timing of Mango came forward and offered his name as a person traveling with me so I could go on my holiday! Thank goodness for kind, common sensed people! Are disabled people wanting to travel alone now needing to pay for a return ticket for somebody else just to get from a to b - how dreadful. The medical form should clarify what assistance is required and whether another person is needed. This should be stored on a database for future use so we don't have to fill in each time! It's 2016 - come on!!
