DELAYED FLIGHT DUE TO BROKEN ENGINE
I booked a flight from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) to Cape Town for Travel on 23/07/2015, flight number JE145 @ 2.30pm.I had boarded the flight and the captain informed us around 2.45pm that we will be delayed a bit as they were busy checking the engine. After 10 minutes the Captain informed us that they are busy roating engine 2 as there is a problem with it. After another 10 minutes he informed us that there is a hydraulic leak and the engineers are taking care of it and we should leave around 4pm. He also told us that there is no replacement craft and we would have to wait until the craft is repaired At 4.10pm the Captain informed us that we would have to disembark the craft as the fault cannot be fixed at the particular point and the craft will have to be moved to the area where all the tools are accessible. Finally, A craft landing at 5pm was made available to us and we were asked to meet at gate C13 where we will board at 5pm. We did not board at 5pm and waited in long q's after sitting in the plane for almost 2 hours. we only boarded at 5.40pm and left around 6pm. I live in Lanagebaan which is another 2 hours drive from the airport and require a compensation for this inconvienie
