Delay, delay, and more delays

Received SMS at 12:25 advising that flight JE273, due for take-off at 19:15, will now depart at 20:44. <br> At 19:45 my teenage daughter cleared security and arrived at the boarding gate. At 19:51 received an SMS saying that the flight has been delayed to 22:20. It is now 22:20 and boarding hasn't yet commenced, although the departure gate has been changed. No feedback from Mango.<br> This is precisely the reason I didn't book with the always-delayed Kulula. <br> Seems like due to SAA's monopoly we really have no choice but to grin and bear it.<br> Please bring on the competition.
