Confirmed flights to Zanzibar cancelled - no notification

By chance today I called Mango call centre to check CoVid requirements for a trip to Zanzibar booked, confirmed and paid for on 5 October. After some discussion about PCR test requirements with the person I was chatting to, she then discovered that our flights have been cancelled. I have received NO NOTIFICATION from Mango by sms or email and we are due to travel in less than a week. We are extremely disappointed, and other flights and accommodation all need to be cancelled now, at cost to us. Just the worst possible situation, will be reluctant to ever book with Mango ever again. I guess I should have known better to use any airline affiliated to SAA. Have sent a refund request, who knows how long that could take.
