Disgusting service

Yesterday, the 30/11/2017 at 17:26pm i went to Maneys petrol station in raisthorpe and asked the petrol attendant to fill R100 petrol. He mistakenly filled R500.07 to which i did not request, i then notice on my phone that an amount of R507.00 had gone off my account. After noticing the error, i then went back to the petrol station to inform the owner of what had transpired. To my arrival – i had spoke to the owners’ son whom was very understanding and helpful, he then refunded me theR407.00 and said that they have a mechanic on standby that can drain the R407.00 petrol from my car, i then suggested that i would come in a few minutes later to have it done. a while later the Owner of the petrol station was present and i had informed him of this incident. I had told him, that i am here to drain the extra petrol that had been filled, he did not want to listen to what i had to say, and he had said he refuses to drain the petrol and that it was not his problem. I cannot understand that how a business owner can treat his customers in such a barbaric manner, screaming and shouting at me in front of customers. My only reason for returning to the petrol station and advising the owner/owner’ son was to avoid the petrol attendant from getting into trouble. Seems my honesty was not appreciated which is very hard to come by nowadays. I feel that the owner should change his attitude and appreciate all business maybe he should take all his money and buy some manners.
