Rental agent, not owning up on the problematic house in Langebaan.

We have rented a holiday home Mandy in Langebaan. Since we paid the deposit, we waited several months to get the welcome pack, statements etc. We had to drive the process.

On the day we needed to check in, she advise that the key will be left for us. She was not present for the checkin. On arrival, there was not enought towels or bedding, lights was not functional, and the house was extremly dirty. The braai are was littered with cigarette buds and pieces of glass. She said she will get cleaners to come and clean, its not here cleaners.. the cleaners never pitched, how ever someone did come and fix the broken bathroom light. In short, the agent that rents the property out, is the point of contact, and the person that must insure the house is ready, before the clients arrive. She has not done this, and not ones came to the house to see the condition, even after several invites from us.

We would not recommend her, and her service to any person.
