A disaster of a pool refurbishment, thanks to Mandla

This guy is a total loose cannon and a primitive construction outfit for pools or what ever else. He charged me R9000 for repainting may pool and R4000 for laying a new suction line. Made a mess in breaking out my existing paving at the pool weir and making it "good" The new paving is uneven and shoddily laid, and my garden wall is smeared with cement he did not bother to clean. Then came the painting and the new fabric tiles (we provided the tiles at our cost). After the pool was filled, we noticed the blue paint was coming of at a few areas of the pool floor and on the steps showing the white grinded fiberglass surface. The fabric tiles on the steps started to deteriorate and on one portion of the wall came loose. I believe his paint mix and resin for the fabric tiles were no good. When he eventually came back to finish his pipe job, he never completed, I pointed this all out to him, but he just dismissed this in an arrogant way saying the "white spots" will go away and the tiles on the steps will get better with time. He said he will come back to finish is shoddy pipe work and also apply new resin to the fabric tiles that started coming of. He never showed up again. Please, this guy is arrogant and talk a lot of nonsense to put you at ease on the mess he is making. He worked for Pet and Pool apparently for ten years, but had a run in with the owner and left. It was workers at Pet and Pool in Boksburg that recommended him, so I accepted their recommendation as I have been supporting Pet and Pool for quite a long time and I believed their recommendation can be trusted. Do not use this guy if you need a new pool, pool refurbishments, or repairs. I am sure you will regret it.
