GAURENTEE - SORRY NO GAURENTEE

Please I need please I need assistance. On 17 January 2018, I purchased a complete Clutch Kit from Mandarin Parts Distributors in Pretoria for the amount of R1995..00 It was a cash deal. The sales person Johan told me telephonically when I enquired about the part that it has a 6 month gaurentee.

It was the first time I did business with this company. (The parts was collected by a friend as my vehicle was not mobile) a cash invoice was issued upon purchase.

The invoice was not signed by me or the person who collected the parts.

The part was installed by an workshop in Rustenburg. I took my car back to the mechanic today as it was making a funny noise and I was informed that it is the Thrust Bearing (which was put in less than 6 months ago)

I contacted Johan at Mandarin Parts informing him of the problem and inquired as how I go about getting a new part as it is still under gaurentee.

It was then that he informed me that thereis fine print on the invoice that states that if it is not fitted by RMI endorsed workshop the guarantee is not valid and I have no claim.

I am a single parent and I am totally reliant on my vehicle. And really do not have another R2000 + for a new part that I had replaced not even six monhs ago
