Booking at misleading rates

The guesthouse via its booking agent advertised very competitive rates. After I have paid a deposit, the guesthouse informed me that the advertised rate was too low. They requested me to cancel the booking and promised to refund the already paid deposit. I have kept my side of the promise, they haven't.
