Worst tertiary experience

Entering into a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting can be a very scary and daunting experience. My Accounting degree through Mancosa was nothing but a waste of time and money to say that I did not learn a thing through them is an understatement. Some of the lectures could not speak properly, the exams were copied and pasted from the case studies in the study guide which gave us a false sense that we understood concepts which were far from any understanding. One of the biggest challenges that I have to overcome is the fact that MANCOSA is not SAICA accredited. I have no idea what accreditation they have other than that they are registered with the Department of Education which means nothing if you are wanting to pursue a career in accounting, because with this BCom Accounting degree you may not even be guaranteed a job. Would I recommend MANCOSA to a friend, ABSOULTELY NOT!
