Urgent: Unresolved Discrepancy in Academic Records and Lack of Feedback

I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding the handling of my academic records for the National Higher Certificate in Accounting. I originally registered in 2020, but due to a medical emergency (COVID-19 hospitalisation), I was unable to complete three modules. In 2022, I re-registered and submitted all assignments for the outstanding modules.

However, I have since discovered that my final mark for one of the modules is incorrectly recorded. Despite having submitted all assignments in 2022, my mark remains exactly the same as in 2020, which is not only improbable but also deeply concerning. I believe this indicates that my updated marks were never captured or correctly updated in the system.

On 9 June 2025, I formally requested access to both my 2020 and 2022 assignment and assessment marks to compare and understand this anomaly. To date, I have received no feedback, and my support ticket has been closed without resolution. I engaged with staff members Belinda Jasson, Lerato, and Nomvelo Zondi, but I was only told I had failed — without any supporting evidence or a clear explanation of how a total mark of 62% is considered a failure.

This lack of transparency and accountability is now hindering my ability to register for the BCom Accounting qualification, which I am eligible for, provided this issue is corrected.
