Unfair, Appalling, Degrading and Disgraceful Marking

I regret the day I decided to study with MANCOSA. I am writing this with a heavy heart, and to say I am disgusted with the institution would be an understatement. MANCOSA is a money-making scheme that sets students up for failure. Their lack of service as well, it is truly disheartening to go through so much for a service from a college that is supposed to support you.

MANCOSA's marking procedure is appalling, degrading, and disgraceful and it just sabotages any student's dream of being a graduate. I would not recommend this institution to anyone! All they care about is MONEY and nothing else, not their student, or giving quality education.

I scored 66% for my final mark in the Marketing module as a final mark. They failed me because my assignment mark was below 50% yet my exam mark was 81%... This is not the first time this has happened, last semester they failed me for Organizational Leadership for not completing a KCQ when I reported multiple times that I could not log in to Mancosa Connect for the said KCQ. I re-registered for that module and paid R4800, but I am not doing this again! NEVER!

When I received my mark for the Marketing assignment, I scored 7/30 which was despicable. I was not satisfied with the generic feedback provided for the assignment, there was no actual feedback that addressed my assignment as an individual student.

I requested a remark through the student app within 5 days of having received my results and there was no communication from Mancosa on my query. I logged another one a few days later and still, no response. What's baffling is that either request is not even available on my student app, I have two "null" options under my queries logged but they show nothing. Following no feedback for nearly two weeks, I sent Mancosa an email and they informed me that the marker stands by his work, the script is correct, and that the feedback is not generic yet my marked assignment has feedback at the very end that says "generic feedback" and addresses "students" and not me!

It is truly impossible to score 7/30 when the information provided speaks to the subject question and is not considered, I provided information through research since their module guides are not resourceful, and to be given generic feedback and declined a remark is out shocking and disappointing.

I guess, for MANCOSA, they don't care as it's extra money for a re-registration. That's all they care about! Not sure why I was even able to write the exam if they knew I had already failed. I would not qualify for an exam if I failed my combined assignment and assessment results, but they still let me write an 8-hour exam!! MANCOSA fails exceptionally at frustrating its students. Even a 1 star is overrating the institution.
