Submission of Assessment - Death of my mother

I started my journey with Mancosa July 2023 as first semester intake. It so happened that the first assigment was due the 13th of September but however I lost my mother the 10th of September. I specifically asked a colleaue to request extention for me seeing I am the only child I will not meet the deadline due to up and down with no access to my laptop. Perfect the extension was handed ovet to the appeal commitee as this was outside of the normal 5 extension days which they grant all students. I thought to myself I should continue with my studies although emotioanlly I was not fine and also the fact that the fees were paid in full. So now my extension is with the appeal commitee to approval or decline my request for extension on the assignments that I missed as they were 3 days apart. I reach out to the student advisor to seek clarity which my question to her was "While I am unsure of the outcome of my extension , should I continue completing my outstanding assignmnents as I am scared to proceed not knowing the outcome" I was then told to attempt the "UPCOMING ONES", to me this means I was on the outstanding and push the upcoming ones as we still had more assugnments to complete. I do exactly that and submit the upcomings ones. Few days pass and still nothig frpm my student advisor whom I have been checking with and had advised previosuly that she will advise as soon as she has the outcome. I continue to check with her and after numurous calls she then advises me at 15H59 that the appeal commitee has granted me to submit my outstanding assignments by the same day 23H59. This was not what I was advised. I continue to fight for submission of the assignments and to my suprise they let me write my exams which I passed but now failed certain modules due to the outstanding assignments I had not submitted. They now refusing me to submit them even after I got the communication from them to only attempt th e upcoming ones. They dont even answer phone calls as you will wait for hours and next thing when you transfererred the student advisor just hangs up. Why did they allow me to write meanwhile this will affect my final mark? I passed everything but the first assignment contributed to my final mark ... The service at Mancosa is really bad
