Stay Away From MANCOSA!!

I app**** to transfer from UNISA to MANCOSA last year due to the absolutely ********** service of UNISA, but to my horror I have now discovered that not only is MANCOSA much worse, but they also lie to you and then refuse to assist you when called out on this. Now I cannot go back to UNISA and have to spend hours on the phone trying to resolve issues that have been dragging on since December, while my education suffers.

When I app**** to MANCOSA I was granted 7 exemptions for modules completed at UNISA, three for my first year and four for the second year, however when I tried to register for my second year, these are apparently now no longer valid. After three months, endless phone calls and emails, I was then told I need to re-apply for the exemptions. Now I receive feedback that I will no longer be getting exemption for some of the modules, which is ridiculous as I would not have transferred had I known I would basically be redoing the entire degree.

It takes 20 minutes to get someone to actually answer the phone, and then mostly the agent working with my registration is not available and no matter how many messages you leave, they never phone back. When you do get hold of her she makes all sorts of promises which are never kept and I am now in a situation where it is mid-February and I have still not been able to register and I run the risk of losing my job as my employment is conditional on providing proof of registration by the 15th of February each year.

Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of MANCOSA, they will take your money and do you in around each and every corner
