Reasonable Accommodation for Persons with disabilities
Good day
I have requested for extra time for KCQ's and Exams for alĺ semesters that I'll be there
I have a disability and can't write clear or fast and at previous institutions I have been with as a student, I used a computer and aĺso get extra time
Mancosa is giving me the run around telling I can't have extra time cause it been included aĺready got all students but I am being discriminated against cause I have special needs
The Assessment/Exam department didn't consider students with disabilities or with special needs, basically Mancosa is saying that we gave every student 2 hours extra and that's enough for you too Disability included

11 Nov 2020, 07:43They responded by saying someone should write for me in that way I'll finish on time and that is not a solution for me and I don't feel comfortable with it. Ì suggested I start 1.5 hours earlier or submit 1.5 hours later but they still won't assist
I am writing exams on the 15 Nov 2020 and won't be able to pay for a specialist to assess my disability but I did provide a Dr's note confirming my disability as per their request

11 Nov 2020, 08:46And note that I am not trying to be difficult or superior than other students but merely disability to be on par with "ability". My disability is my problem and when it comes to Reasonable Accommodation, I should be accommodated fairly
